Certifications and Agreements

Eligibility and Composition of teams:

Preferably teams should be composed of full-time students. However, teams may include part-time or non students, but at least one member of the team must be a full time student at BYU-HAWAII taking a minimum of 12 credit hours. Teams may have up to 6 members per plan.

By submitting a business plan to the BYUH Business Plan Competition each contestant on the registration form agrees to the following conditions:

Originality of Plan and Ownership of the idea:

The ideas and concepts set forth in the submitted business plans are the original work of the contestant team and that no contestant is under any agreement or restrictions which prohibits or restricts his or her ability to disclose or submit such ideas or concepts to the BYUH Business Plan Competition.

Compliance with the Eligibility Guidelines of the Competition:

Each Contestant must review the entry Eligibility Guidelines, and by his or her signature on the Entry Form certifies that this entry and the team or individual it represents complies with, and agrees to abide by the Guidelines.

By registering you agree to the above requirements. To participate in the BYUH Business Plan Competition, your team must be registered by 5:00 pm Friday, February 2, 2007. In order to receive assistance and further education from an experienced mentor, your entry must be submitted by 5:00 pm Friday, November 17, 2006.
