Biography:
John Simcox is presently assigned to serve at BYU Hawaii. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Entrepreneurship. He is a sustaining Silver Founder and member of the Board of Directors, a long time supporter of the Center for Entrepreneurship. His primary business activity has been retail jewelry. The primary chain, J.C. Keepsake Diamonds, operates more than 20 stores in Colorado and Utah; other operations include Bullock & Losee Jewelers , and Brendon Jewelers. In early 1999, John sold his interest in these chains to one of the largest diamond wholesalers in the world, located in Israel. Currently, John is currently involved in land development and a horse breeding ranch in the Winter Park, Colorado area. He breeds, trains and sell horses. John and his wife, Charlene, are the proud parents of five children and fourteen grandchildren.

He and his wife served a Church mission to the Russia Vladivostok Mission. The Board expresses their great appreciation to the Simcox's for the excellent and effective service they give.

Charlene (sweetheart and partner in all we do, wonderful mother and grandmother), 5 great children and many grandchildren that bless our lives and keep us young.

Robin Porter:

Elder Porter currently teaches the Entrepreneurship class for non-business majors in the School of Business. He is an entrepreneur for many businesses such as Clearfield Conveyers Inc. Clearfield Companies, Hi-Tech Stoves Inc., SCR Management, Redline Systems Inc., and R&G Moulding Inc.
