The Willes Center for

International Entrepreneurship

2007 Business Plan Competition

The Mark and Laura Willes Center for International Entrepreneurship is holding it's annual Business Plan Competition. We invite enterprising students of all majors to participate in the competition.  It is our hope that this competition will foster business activities both in our local community and in the communities of our graduating students. This contest is designed to help students become successful entrepreneurs. The competition will have two categories: one for developed economies and one for countries with developing economies.  The Business Plan Competition gives students a chance to organize their concepts into complete business plans.  To aid students in these endeavors, the Willes Center is providing mentors, sponsoring clubs activities, and providing educational workshops throughout the fall.

If you desire direction and guidance for your Business Plan by being assigned to a mentor, the entry form deadline for the Business Plan Competition is November 17 , 2006 by 5:00 pm.  The deadline for students to complete all business plans, either with or without a mentor's assistance, is February 2nd, 2007 by 5:00 pm.  Entry forms must be submitted to the School of Business front desk. First and second place winners will be awarded from both categories: developed and developing economies. This year's competition winners will divide a total of over $20,000 in prize money.
